Prof. Dr. Lütfi Eroğlu was born in Ankara in 1968.

Having studied there during his elementary and middle school years - he was admitted to Ankara University School of Medicine in 1986 and obtained his medical doctor title in 1992.

He started his residency at Ondokuz Mayıs University Medical School for Plastic Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery Department. He earned his title as a medical specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery in 1998. He started to work at the same university as a lecturer.

He worked from October 2001 to April 2002 at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital's Plastic Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery department in Gothenburg, Sweden.

He earned his associate professor title in 2006.

In February 2014, he earned his professor title.

He is still pursuing his teaching and research efforts at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Hospital's Plastic Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery department to this day, while simultaneously working as a private practitioner.
